The Augusta area is home to some of the countries most beautiful and intricate Golf Courses.
Check out these three (of many) we’ve highlighted for you!
- The River Golf Club in North Augusta, while a semi private club, does accept public play. It has a full practice range, two puttinggreens as well as a chipping green. The River Golf Club generously offers a weekday discount to seniors, students and active duty military. Golf lesson packages for all ability levels are also available. Check out our Shoreline property that has some pretty spectacular course views.
- Forest Hills Golf Club a 7140 yard, par 72 course was established in 1926. Forest Hills has repeatedly been named the “Best Public Golf Course” by Augusta Magazine. They offer a wide range of memberships, all of which include green fees and complimentary usage of the driving range. Public tee times can be reserved seven days in advance. Proper golf attire is required. The Forest Hills Golf Club is a soft spike facility.
- Last but certainly not least The Augusta National Golf Club, a celebrity in itself, home to the prestigious Masters. Formally opening in 1933, The Augusta National Golf Club hosts the annual 4 day, 72 hole tournament the first week of April. A neat fact, the 16th hole is played entirely over water.
Don’t forget where you packed your clubs when moving in the Augusta Area, you don’t want to miss out on these courses!
