It’s that time of the week again…the weekend! If you don’t already have plans, check out some of these local events going on!
Presented by Ed Turner, Number 9 has added a third show after an overwhelming response! Indulge in class rock tunes from Joe Cocker, Bob Seger, BB King, Hall and Oates, The Beatles, and many more! Catch the show Saturday night (8/22) at 7:30PM at the Imperial Theatre downtown. Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased on the Imperial Theatre website.
Don’t forget to check out the Market at the River on the Riverwalk starting at 8AM every Saturday morning, where you can pick up great local produce, products, and listen to local musicians downtown!
If you enjoy running, join the Triple 8 Group Run that meets weekly on Saturdays at 8AM at the fountain at the Market at the River. You can walk a mile, run 3.5 miles, or even go for 8 miles!
On Sunday (8/23) check out Music at the Morris: Music of the Baroque Period where members of the GRU music faculty will be presenting music from the 17th and 18th centuries for FREE! The show begins at 2PM at the Morris Museum of Art located on One Tenth Street in downtown Augusta.
